【Beare’s Premiere Music Festival 2025】Festival Finale La Belle Époque
Description
A truly glimmering night of chamber music with music chosen from the enchanting era of La Belle Époque (1871-1914). The first half showcases the masterful musicianship of our visiting ensembles, with the Verona Quartet playing the only string quartet by Giuseppe Verdi, and the Sitkovetsky Trio playing the second trio by French Romantic composer Cécile Chaminade.
In the second half, our world-class Festival musicians gather again for Fauré’s evocative Piano Quartet, and the grand finale of our Festival, the fireworks of Bizet’s Carmen Fantasy.
